Fly Creek Cider Mill

This turn-of the-century water-powered mill is a fascinating family attraction located in the heart of New York, only minutes from Cooperstown. The 1889 Boomer & Boschert Cider Press and 1924 Waterloo Boy Gas Engine were once common on farms in upstate New York.

New York is still one of America’s largest producers of apples. Watch apples being pressed at Fly Creek Orchards and take home fresh cider, old-fashioned cider doughnuts, pies, cheese, and fresh farm produce. Kids can play in the tractor Land kids area or feed the ducks in the millpond. Relax and enjoy our way of life.
