Walking Mule Designs

The candle products of Walking Mule Designs are made from 100% natural beeswax, which is the most prestigious, most elegant and most expensive of materials. Beeswax results in a clean, slow burning candle with a sweet aroma of honey.

Walking Mule Candles are hand rolled and offered in 9" tapers and full or half pillars. They are available in three color lines: brights, pastels and earth tones. The honeycomb surface pattern of our candles gives them a unique, elegant appearance.

The inspiration for the Walking Mule Designs name comes from the heritage of the Erie Canal. It was on the towpaths of the Erie Canal that countless mules provided the reliable energy that transported goods and people for the opening of the west. Today all Walking Mule Design candles are hand rolled in the historic Mohawk Valley Canal City of Little Falls, New York. And the company is head-quartered in Rochester, New York, one of the early canal boomtowns.
